About the Artist: WILL PRENTICE
Will’s love of the great outdoors began as a child. His father gave Will a camera to
document a trip. Will instinctively took pictures of the clouds on the way to his destination
– mesmerized by their textures, patterns, and colours. Will has always wanted to present
the world as he sees it – beginning with his early watercolour paintings and sketches.
His beloved grandmother introduced Will to the Canadian ‘Group of Seven’, who
becamehis first artistic inspiration. The forest became his grounding place – when the
hustle and bustle of “life” becomes too much, Will retreats to outdoor beauty and serenity.

images take their compelling final forms.
Will’s work has garnered extensive recognition through numerous awards and a devoted
following who appreciate the powerful artistic combination of his keen eye and superb
